Historical events of December 3

1 – Lord Cornwallis, in 1790, snatched the power of justice in criminal cases from the Nawab of Mushirabad and in his hand and transferred this Nizamat court to Calcutta.

2 – Baji Rao II was made Peshwa of Maratha Empire in 1796.
